Oh wait. It’s tomorrow. _Sneakiest day ever! _We are excited to host the first-ever exhibition of Boise High School senior (and our lovely Summer intern), Elissa Johnson. Elissa’s artwork utilizes various combinations of graphite, pen, watercolors, acrylics, colored pencils and charcoal to portray people, animals, and the relationships between them. Often colorful and slightly surreal, her work explores different mediums, substrates and styles. In conjunction, we’ll have Jennie Jorgensen here with her collection of illustrations from [6]Josh Gross’ new book “Secrets & Lies”. We are their merchandise partner (we made sweet little screenprinted Moleskin notebooks & “Story Story Nighties” which are available for purchase at their events). We also are in charge of making “trophies” for their featured story tellers. This month’s theme was FIRE…stories of getting “burned”. We took a pretty literal approach: (It’s a piece of firewood, with the word “BURN” spelled out. In matches.)
